Requesting a Building Tour

To request a building tour, please email ATECsupport@utdallas.edu within 5 business days of your intended tour date.

IMPORTANT: Please do not confirm or schedule your tour guest(s) until you receive verification from the events team, as the events team cannot guarantee their availability to host all tours. 

Only FACULTY and STAFF are eligible to request building tours.

Building Tour Overview

Tours can take anywhere from 30min – 60min.

The events team will take the guest(s) through the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor of the ATC building. They will highlight the lecture hall (if possible), classrooms, the open lab, and specialty labs (if possible). Please know that not everything is available each day due to classes: the events team has to plan tour routes on a day-to-day basis and each route is entirely dependent on curriculum schedulings. 

Faculty and Staff Guest Tours

Please include the following information in your email:

  1. Department and/or faculty host
  2. Name of guest(s)
  3. Number of guests
  4. Date tour is needed
  5. 2 different tour start times that work with the requestors schedule
  6. Would you like a 30min tour, or, a 60min tour?
  7. Will the host be joining their guest on the tour?

Prospective Student Tours

Please include the following information in your email:

  1. Department and/or faculty host
  2. Number of guests
  3. Date tour is needed
  4. Student’s intended program or pathway at ATEC
  5. Would you like a 30min tour, or, a 60min tour?
  6. Is this part of a larger, external campus-wide event? Please describe. 
  7. How did the prospective student contact you? Please describe.

VIP Tours

The events team will assess VIP tours on a case-by-case basis and may involve other departments at ATEC to assist or take over this type of tour request.
