After-Hours and Weekend Support
Events or meetings occurring outside of regular business hours (Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm) do not have guaranteed support from ATEC Events without prior approval.
To request event support outside of regular business hours, please email ATECReservation@utdallas.edu at least 3 weeks before your event date with an event timeline, event description and clear statement outlining what type of support you’re requesting.
Support requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not finalized until you hear from ATEC Events stating their potential availability.
Events with Minors Present
A minor is defined as a person who is not yet old enough to have the rights of an adult. The state of Texas recognizes 18 as the "age of majority," at which point residents are legally considered adults.
If a student organization, faculty/staff member or department is sponsoring (or co-sponsoring) an event in which minors are present, you must contact the Programs for Minors Office at UT-Dallas at least 3 weeks before your event date. This is to ensure sponsors are complying with all the necessary guidelines.
