Technology Support offers basic audio and visual assistance (AV) for communication, conferencing, and events.

Technology Support offers a variety of setups to meet the needs of most conferences and events, which includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Skype
  • WebEx
  • Webcam
  • Projector
  • Mobile TV
  • Laptop (Mac or Windows)
  • Portable Speakers



To request technical support, please submit a ticket request to atec_tech@utdallas.edu. When sending a request, be sure to include: 

  • Who it's for.
  • What it's for.
  • Location(s) and/or room number(s).
  • Start and end time(s)
  • Date(s)
  • A detailed description of the assistance and equipment required.


Once Scheduled

A Lab Tech will visit 15 minutes prior to the event or conference to setup. They will wait in the room/area for a few minutes once the event or conference begins to ensure no technical difficulties are encountered before leaving. At the end time of the event or conference, a lab tech will come by and pick up the setup equipment.
