During your first semester in ATEC, you received an email from your advisor sharing a link to your digital degree plan in Box. This is an editable degree plan, so if you download a copy from Box, you can use it to plan your time in ATEC. You will also be able to access it in Box at any time.
You should always refer to your digital degree plan when planning your next semester's schedule to be sure your courses fit your remaining requirements. You can find a helpful video about how to update your ATEC degree plan here or visit the Peer Mentor Live channel in Ask ATEC for further assistance.
- Review your degree plan and make a list of the courses you are interested in enrolling in.
- Once the schedule is live and you have viewed it, if you have questions, you are welcome to attend the Virtual schedule-planning sessions posted in Ask ATEC have your questions answered. If you are unable to attend one of the events, you can also ask a Peer Mentor in the Live chat channel. Peer mentors are a fantastic resource because they have taken many ATEC classes and can provide some information about course content, as well as make recommendations about how to balance your schedule.
- Remember, your advisor can also meet with you virtually to answer some of those more in-depth questions. You will get the most out of your appointment if you have reviewed the schedule and created a shortlist of classes before any schedule planning meeting.
